About us

In 2006 Rugby Lunches WA held its first luncheon with the inaugural Western Force and the ACT Brumbies game. We have since hosted annual Rugby and Cricket Test Match luncheons, including the 2006 Ashes Test Match luncheon which drew 880 guests, making it the biggest ever cricket lunch in Perth.

In 2010 New Zealand Rugby Union honored Rugby Lunches WA by allowing us to organize the first ever ‘capping’ ceremony held outside New Zealand. Sir Colin Meads presented former All Black Paul Koteka with his Test Cap at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre in front of 550 guests – a day never to be forgotten.

Since 2006 a veritable who’s-who of international sporting heroes have been special guests at Rugby Lunches WA.

All Black greats Sir Colin Meads and Sir Graham Henry, the legendary wing Jonah Lomu, Keven Mealamu, Stu Wilson, Eric Rush, Tony Johnson, Peter FitzSimons, President of SARU Oregan Hoskins, Chris Handy and Australian test cricketers Damien Fleming have joined the likes of Merv Hughes, Justin Langer, Mark Nicholas, Bruce Yardley, Jeremy Coney, Barry Richards, Kim Hughes and David Lloyd as our international guest speakers.

Rugby Lunches WA’s aim is to entertain your current business clients and future prospects with great food, wine and speakers and is committed to putting on first-class events for our many repeat attendees.

What People Say

Thanks for a polished event, our guests had nothing but praise for the event and the guest speakers.

I had a great time at the lunch, as well as the rest of the guests. The speakers were excellent and it was great to catch up with more egg-chasing supporters in a great environment. The whole event was well run and I will certainly be back for more.

Richard Vaughan

In a nut shell, brilliant!  I could not add anything to a perfect night.  Have a great Christmas.
